9 Months on Testosterone

FTM T-Journal and photos undergoing the female to male transition

September 20, 2005 : 9 Months on Testosterone

I apologize for the late post. Hurricane Rita has thrown us off quite a bit, but things will be back to usual soon.
So far this month has been fairly irritating. Earlier in the month I had a bad acne breakout just below my cheeks along my jawline. It was itching quite a bit. The ance is no longer as flared up, but the area is fairly pink. I’m not sure if this is the first sign of a hair trying to grow in or if it is simply dry skin. I will be seeing the dermatologist in two days to discuss the condition of my skin with her. I have been using a peel off acne mask every night and then putting on Neutrogena deep pore cleanser.
Unfortunately, the medicine that I picked up from my dermatologist expired. The treatments that I have been used have helped, but there is still a lot of redness in the area.
Other than that, there is very little to remark on. I still feel greasy and smelly. I’ve started a routine of bathing at least twice a day. This seems to cut back on acne and improve my overall sense of cleanliness. Unfortunately, 9 months on testosterone has increased my sweat production and it seems to be becoming much more noticeable.
The hair on my thighs seems to be filling in more now. I’m not exactly sure how pleased I am about this. We’ll see in a couple months whether this is a good thing or not.
