Hairstyles

Mens Hairstyles and Haircuts

Along with dress and binding, the haircut is another key to being perceived as male. Women tend to cut their sideburns at angles, whereas men cut their sideburns straight across–this is one of those things that we perceive but don’t pay attention to when talking to people.

Bangs are a bad idea, and no hair is a bad idea. Small guys need to watch out when they shave their heads because the littler you are, the more feminine it is. Also, the hairstylists that work at fancy salons will give a much more feminine cut in comparison with the young guy at the barber shop. Old men, women with a traditional ethnic background, and enthusiastic newly-out-of cosmetic school girls don’t seem to understand what the term “guys cut” mean and they never want to go short enough for me.
