Dr. Michael Brownstein retired in 2012. He appointed Dr. Curtis Crane to take over the practice.

Biography

Dr. Michael Brownstein performed gender related surgery in the late 1970’s until he retired in 2012. Dr. Brownstein was widely recognized for his successful techniques and results for patients who received a bilateral mastectomy. At the time of his retirement, Dr. Brownstein had been performing female to male chest reconstructive procedures for nearly 30 years. His practice was exclusively limited to performing bilateral mastectomies. He performed approximately 200 procedures annually.
Dr. Brownstein was a Board Certified plastic surgeon, and a member of ASPS, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He specialized in plastic, reconstructive, and gender related surgery.
